Planning a holiday or business trip? Our home dog boarding service is the perfect solution for keeping your dog healthy and happy whilst you are away. We welcome all breeds for both short or long‑term stays.
Staying in a family home offers your dog a more familiar environment than Kennels. Your dog will be individually cared for (and almost certainly pampered) by two experienced dog‑lovers.
During their stay, they will become part of our family. They will have human company throughout the day, rest in our lounge in the evening, play in our garden and enjoy fun local walks too!
We only board a maximum of two dogs at any one time, so rest assured, your dog will receive plenty of attention!
This ratio helps create a safe and engaging environment for your dog to stay, play, exercise, eat and rest. Essentially, we aim to be your dog’s “home from home”.
We attend to the needs of each dog individually and take care of them as if they were our own. Before any stay, we ask that you visit us for a “meet and greet”, to help you and your dog get comfortable and ensure we’re all a good fit!
Whilst boarding, your dog will be walked every day, as agreed with you beforehand. Some need only a little exercise, some demand a lot! Walks will be tailored specifically to your dogs particular requirements.
We live close to both the coast and countryside, so there’s plenty of variety within easy reach. With lots of beach, park and woodland walks to explore!
In addition, we have a fully enclosed garden for dogs who like to play or require easy regular bathroom breaks.
Working long hours or frantically packing for a well deserved break? For a small fee, our dog shuttle service provides a safe pick‑up or drop‑off to and from our home. Our van can comfortably accommodate dogs of all sizes!
We can collect and return your dog anywhere in our shuttle service area – which stretches from the Tyne to South Northumberland and includes:
Backworth, Bedlington, Blyth, Cramlington, Cullercoats, Earsdon, Holystone, Killingworth, Monkseaton, North Shields, Seaton Delaval, Seaton Sluice, Shiremoor, Tynemouth, Wallsend, Wideopen and of course Whitley Bay!
Our standard home dog boarding times are from 2pm to 2pm, but for a small fee, we can usually accomodate an early check‑in (8am to 2pm) or late check‑out (2pm to 8pm) if required.
Some dogs can be quite anxious or don’t mix easily with other dogs. Others are just used to being the only dog in the house. If you would prefer your dog to stay with us on their own, we fully understand and this can be arranged.
For a small fee, we can offer your dog a “sole stay”. So, you can rest assured they will receive our undivided attention.
Keeping your dog safe whilst staying with us is our top priority. To help, we like to make use of the latest tracking technology. With your permission, we attach a small GPS tracker to your dog’s collar. This provides an extra layer of security should your dog bolt or stray.

To help you get comfortable, we suggest an informal “meet and greet”, usually over a cuppa! Together, we can discuss your dog’s needs and make sure we’re all good fit!
